Through your contributions, the goals of the Jefferson Family Foundation will thrive. The support of friends, family and community members helps us to fulfill our vision to empower individuals to overcome challenges, maximize their potential, and develop into leaders within their community.

To streamline giving to the Foundation and to recognize our donors, the Jefferson Family Foundation developed the following giving levels for individual donors. Our new recognized donation levels will go into effect in November 2023.

The categories for the individual donor giving levels are meant to celebrate the various educational degrees someone may earn in their educational journey. The Jefferson Family Foundation recognizes anyone earning a degree at any level should be celebrated. Within that same mindframe, we want to celebrate all donations to the Foundation; big or small. We know that we would not be able to offer scholarships and provide other education outreach opportunities without the support of our donors. Individual donors will be listed in our annual report. All giving levels will be listed during the current fiscal year (January - December). Each donation received helps us to fulfill our mission of shrinking educational, and socio-economic barriers for first-generation students.

Individual Donor Giving Levels

  • Each donation of $1,500 or more will fund our First-Gen Scholarship Award in its entirety, allowing two first-generation high school students to attend college with less worry about how to pay for books and fees

  • Each donation at the Master’s level will fund at least two scholarships for deserving first generation students

  • Each donation at the Master’s level will fund at least one scholarship for a deserving first generation student

  • Each donation at this level allows us to increase our scholarship fund for deserving first generation students.

  • Each donation at this level allows us to increase our scholarship fund for deserving first generation students.
